Name: Feet with bangles
Location: National Museum Kaduna
Height: 16.75cm
Recovered: 1928
Text:
The size of this model of a human right foot and lower leg, hollow and wearing bangles, was the first object to suggest the probability of finding statuary of the period. Though little, if any of the original surface remains, the modelling of toes and toenails is clear.
